An installation for the electrification of the radio station Radio Ditunga in the D.R. Congo.
The installation is composed of a Bornay 3000 wind turbine with 48 volt battery charge as well as 10 Eoplly solar panels with a nominal power of 190 Wp.
Both systems are connected to a BAE PVS battery bank with a nominal voltage of 48 volts and a storage capacity of 600 Ah C100.
The battery bank is connected to an inverter/charger that transforms the 48 volts available in the battery bank into alternating current at 220v 50 Hz to supply the various consumptions of the station. The device converts into a charger when the emergency generator starts up, apart from the generator being able to switch on automatically at any time, depending on battery status or consumption.
